The SPJ Region 7 conference is once again a physical world event! This year’s conference, titled Passionate Journalism, is designed to help all of us rediscover the passion that brought us to journalism in the first place! Something most of us have struggled to stay in touch with over the last couple of years!
We have a full slate of seminars, a keynote speech from lifelong local journalist and Emmy Hall of Famer Larry Hatteberg on Passionate Journalism, and a panel discussion on the rising interest in non-profit journalism. This year we’re hosting at Wichita State University on April 9, with a mixer the night before at PBS Kansas from 6 to 8pm.
